Colin Doggett is a talented painter with a varied portfolio of rural scenes, animals, trains, aircraft and boats.

After starting out in the motor industry, Colin went into the decorating business, and his own paintings were a hobby in his spare time.  However he began to realise he had inherited his sign-writer father's fine brush skills, and has since turned his painting into a successful business.

He started out working for Countryside Books, illustrating the covers of titles on subjects from pub walks to steam railways.

His teenage fascination with vintage and racing cars later went onto include aircraft, and its this knowledge and attention to detail that makes Colin’s action studies of wartime airplanes stunning.

 Recently he had been privately commissioned to paint a wedding gift for the royal wedding of Prince William to the Duchess of Cambridge.
